Choosing Your Stateroom

So you’ve looked online and found a cruise that you just need to be on. That’s WONDERFUL! =) Now, if you were to go online and book that cruise yourself, would you end up in the perfect stateroom? Well, most online sites will quote you this great rate but it winds up being for a stateroom that’s not right for you. Perhaps your great rate is for a stateroom that is bunk beds only ~ perhaps your beautiful balcony stateroom is right under a high traffic area.
That’s where I come in as your Travel Professional. If you call me, I can set you up in a stateroom that will meet all your needs. I will make sure that your stateroom is not directly under or near a high traffic area. Here’s a little story: I was on a beautiful new ship with a beautiful balcony, but I am a light sleeper. Every night I had a difficult time going to sleep and every morning I was roused out of sleep [of course my husband claimed he never heard a thing…it must be nice to be a heavy sleeper] due to the fact that my stateroom was directly under a dining area. What WAS that noise??? They were dragging carts around and moving furniture…ugh! Lesson learned!
Of course, there will always be someone in that stateroom, but I will make sure its not you if at all possible. If it were up to me, cruise ships would always be sailing with the staterooms under those high traffic areas empty. But maybe you are both heavy sleepers and it’s not a concern for you. That’s ok too. I’ll book you into that stateroom if that’s the one you want. =)
