VOTE
I'm not normally an opinionated person. Well, maybe I am, but I generally keep my opinions to myself. But I have one thing that I have a strong opinion about and that's our right to vote. On this point, I think I need to be vocal.
I'm not going to ramble on and on….I just want to say this. GO VOTE TODAY! It's our privilege and our right. I've told people in the past when they've complained about the economy or about elected officials that they didn't have the right to complain because they didn't vote.
If you are thinking that you don't want to go vote because you don't want to be standing in line, I say DON'T WHINE…GO VOTE! Things are rough today, the economy is tanking, people are losing their houses, gas prices are high and oil companies keep making higher profits quarter after quarter. If you are going to complain about these things but don't go vote….I don't want to hear about it. You don't have the right to complain unless you go vote!
Harsh words? Perhaps, but I'm not sorry. Don't think of it as a chore, it's not a chore.
One last thing….GO VOTE TODAY!
